I love American Idol. Everyone who knows me knows that. However, I hate American Idol "fans". Paula Abdul isn't coming back to judge American Idol this year. Is that sad? Yes. Very sad. Is it worth boycotting the show over? No. Not at all. Let's examine some of the unintelligent, idiotic forum posts from (most likely)inbred "fans" of American Idol.

Oh my. It's been a minute since I updated ANY of my blogs. Wow. Which means, we have several areas to cover... let's get on that, shall we?
American Idol - Okay, really? Kris Allen in the Final 2? Please. Now, I'm not saying he has a terrible voice... but Kris Allen has a "WOW that guy at karaoke had a good voice!" kind of voice, not an American Idol voice. The show is supposed to find the best unsigned/undiscovered talent in America. Allison Iraheta has a MUCH better voice, and far more star quality, than Kris Allen. Then again, if we're going by talent alone, it should actually have come down to Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace. That she got voted off so early is still appalling, if you ask me. But it's okay... between Kris and Adam, it WILL be Adam that wins.
Work - WELL! My first paid vacation EVER this week. I don't even know what to do with myself. But it's okay, I have a house guest. And she'll be here all summer, so it's cool.
Home - My good friend BRITTANY NICOLE STEPHENS is spending the entire summer with me. She has an internship at Doc's office. It's pretty cool, that just means I have to be out at the barn less. I hate getting dirty, and working with horses is kind of... well, dirty. So is having a dog who loves you but ALSO loves jumping in the nasty pond. Yeah, fun times.
HOT DAMN. An entire update. I shall have to do this more often.
So I've pretty much rounded out my staff. It's me, James the Greatest, Ashley P, Pamela D, and Megan H. And for those who don't know, James is a girl. She's totally freaking awesome, both at her job and just at life in general. She's taken to pretty much everything like a natural, it's great.
Speaking of great, wouldn't it be great if Adam Lambert won Idol? First (more or less)openly gay Idol. That would be something. HEY - black president and gay Idol IN THE SAME YEAR. 2009 would be a force to be reckoned with in the history books, my friends. It would be a great thing indeed.
Well, this is unprecedented. American Idol starts their Hollywood Round next week, and I already have over 30 people on my "Favorites" list. I usually go into Hollywood Round with maybe 11 or 12. So, this year is good. Well, so far. You never know, they could completely go insane and cut all the good performers... KINDA LIKE THEY DID IN SEASON 6. (Mad love for Jordin Sparks, though, and Blake Lewis is sexy.)
Anyway... so check this out. I was suspended yesterday from work indefinitely. For stealing money from the cash register - which I quite obviously did NOT do. I even had to be interrogated. What the HELL is THAT? Anyone who knows me knows I would never do that. Why would I give up my AWESOME salary and bonuses for $400? I mean, really, come on. That's not exactly a fair trade.
But it's all good; my DM called me today and told me they've re-instated me. I'm starting back on Saturday. But still... I was pretty offended that they'd even suggest I did that. I guess they have to consider everything, and I was the one that closed that night, but still. How stupid.
Okay, so not a HUGE update for today... but I thought I may as well update my American Idol favorites list! Tonight's episode was auditions in San Francisco... I was actually a little disappointed. I only have three names to add:

But I am SO excited for tomorrow - in Louisiville, JOANNA PACITTI goes through. I freaking LOVE Joanna. Possibly one of my favorite vocalists ever; her CD "This Crazy Life" is SO amazing. Go download or buy it. You won't regret it.
